Version 6.1:
- A problem when saving the preferences at shutdown has been corrected, because of Mac OS X's non-safe way of quitting the applications at shutdown.

Version 6.0:
- A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with Lion.
- A full recompilation has been made again as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.

Under Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and 10.9 Mavericks, if you're launching the application for the first time, maybe Mac OS X's GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developper).
NB: We're not distributing our applications through the Mac App Store, because Apple's fees policy on the Mac App Store is not financially respectful of developers and small and medium companies.

4. How to uninstall it?
There should be no reason to do this. ;-)
However, if really needed, you just have to throw it into the trash, that's all.

5. How to use it?
Launch it and the distance covered by your mouse will be displayed in the right side of the menu bar.
The best way to use it is to add it in the Login items (in the System Preferences panel) so that it is automatically launched each time you turn your Macintosh on.

The "About..." menu:
It allows you to display the application About window.

The "Preferences..." menu:
It allows you to open the application Preferences window.
The Preferences windows allows you to modify the settings of the application (units, screen dimensions, distance accumulated, transparency).

The "Units" group box:"
It allows you to select between meters or feet. If you select meters then you must enter your screen dimensions in centimeters and the distance covered by your mouse is displayed in meters. If you select feet then you must enter your screen dimensions in inches and the distance covered by your mouse is displayed in feet.

The "Screen dimensions" group box:"
It allows you to enter your screen width and screen height in centimeters or in inches so that the distance your mouse covers is calculated accurately.

The "Accumulated distance" group box:"
It shows you the distance covered by your mouse, accumulated since the last time you reset it to zero. The Reset push button allows you to reset it to zero.
It also indicates the last day when you reset the distance to zero.

The "Quit" menu:
It allows you to quit the application.
