Version 7.0:
- A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with El Capitan and Sierra, and as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.
- The "How to intall it?" paragraph of the documentation has been updated to explain how to install and launch the Application in particular under Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan and 10.12 Sierra:
Under Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan and 10.12 Sierra, if you're launching the Application for the first time, maybe Mac OS X's GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developper).

Version 6.0:

3. How to install it?
No particular installation is required. Once you've downloaded the ".dmg" package from our website, it should uncompress automatically (in your "Downloads" folder or on your Desktop). If it does not, then you can double-click on it to uncompress it.
Then you just have to move the created folder into your "Applications" folder (or any other location) and double-click on the Application to launch it.

Particular case of Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan and 10.12 Sierra:

NB: We're not distributing our Applications through the Mac App Store, because Apple's fees policy on the Mac App Store is not financially respectful of developers and small and medium companies, and consequently, at the end, of customers.

4. How to uninstall it?
There should be no reason to do this. ;-)
However, if you really want, then you just have to throw the Application into the trash, and that's all.

5. How to use it?
Launch it and create as many links between applications as you want.
It appears in the right side of the menu bar.
The best way to use it is to add it in the Login items (in the System Preferences panel) so that it is automatically launched each time you turn your Mac on.

The "About..." menu:
It allows you to display the application About window.

The "Preferences..." menu:
It allows you to open the application Preferences window containing the current links.

The "New link" push button:
It allows you to create a new link.
When you create a new link, select the application to monitor (when it launches or quits) and select the application on which to perform an action (launch, quit or kill). Then click Ok.
When you create a new link, Linked Applications Launcher lists only running application, so if the applications you want to select do not appear in the popup menu lists, launch these applications and recreate a new link; this time the applications you want to select should appear in the popup menu lists.
The difference between quitting and killing an application is that killing is more brutal than quitting. Quitting is the normal way an application should be quitted whereas killing is a way to force an application to quit even if it does not want.

The "Remove link" push button:
It allows you to remove the selected link.

The "Quit" menu:
It allows you to quit the application.
