1. What is Font Viewer?
You want to be able to list all the fonts installed on your Mac? You want to compare them? You want to display all their possible main characters in any style, any size and any color? You want to display them with your own text sample? You want to print all of them on your printer?
Then Font Viewer is what you need!

Font Viewer allows you to list, compare, try and print all installed fonts on your system.
- It displays the total number of installed fonts on your system.
- It displays the name of each font next to its rank.
- It displays an example of text with each font.
- You can edit each example, which allows you to try out the fonts as you want.
- You can replicate your own example through all the fonts.
- You can change the style, the size and the color of all the fonts.
- You can open multiple windows at the same time with all the fonts to compare them more easily.
- It can automatically display the main characters of each font.
- It can print all of your fonts with the selected size, style and text.
- It doesn't need any installation which makes it very easy to use.
- It is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Polish, Spanish and many other languages.

Version 10.1:

- The "How to intall it?" paragraph of the documentation has been updated to explain how to install and launch the Application in particular under MacOS 10.13 High Sierra:
Under MacOS 10.13 High Sierra, if you're launching the Application for the first time, MacOS' GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developper).

Version 10.0:
- A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with El Capitan and Sierra, and as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.

Version 9.0:
- A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with Mountain Lion, Mavericks and Yosemite.

2. How to register?
As long as you use it unregistered this Application works normally, but it has a time limit and annoying windows (Registration window, Popup windows, ...).
To register it you just have to purchase a registration code on our website.

3. How to install it?
No particular installation is required. Once you've downloaded the ".dmg" package from our website, it should uncompress automatically (in your "Downloads" folder or on your Desktop). If it does not, then you can double-click on it to uncompress it.
Then you just have to move the created folder into your "Applications" folder (or any other location) and double-click on the Application to launch it.

Particular case of MacOS 11 Big Sur:

Under MacOS 11 Big Sur, if you're launching the Application for the first time, MacOS' GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developper).

NB: We're not distributing our Applications through the Mac App Store, because Apple's fees policy on the Mac App Store is not financially respectful of developers and small and medium companies, and consequently, at the end, of customers.

4. How to uninstall it?
There should be no reason to do this. ;-)
However, if you really want, then you just have to throw the Application into the trash, and that's all.

5. How to use it?
The "File/Open a new window" menu:
It allows you to open a new window containing all the installed fonts on your system. This can be useful to compare each font with each other.

The "File/Close the window" menu:
It allows you to close the current window.

The "File/Open MacOS Keyboard" menu:
It allows you to open Apple's hidden keyboard.

The "File/Print all fonts" menu:
It allows you to print all of your fonts as they are displayed in the current window.

The "Fonts/N installed fonts" menu:
It is not a functional menu. It indicates the number of installed fonts on your system.

The "Fonts/Style..." menu:
It allows you to change the style of all the fonts at the same time in the current window. The style can be normal, bold or italic.

The "Fonts/Size..." menu:
It allows you to change the size of all the fonts at the same time in the current window.

The "Fonts/Replicate the text" menu:
It allows you to replicate the text currently edited in the current window to the whole window in all available fonts. This can be useful to compare each font with each other with a custom text.

The "Fonts/Type all characters" menu:
It allows you to replace the text currently edited by all the characters of the font. It can be done in conjunction with the Replicate text menu to display all the available characters of all the fonts.

The "Colors/Font..." menu:
It allows you to change the color of the background in the current window.

The "Colors/Background..." menu:
It allows you to change the color of all the fonts in the current window.
