Known bug: Sometimes MacOS does not automatically update the folder in which you modify a file unless you manipulate it, change its name, open a new MacOS session, or relaunch the Finder. This is a MacOS known bug (and not a File Properties Editor bug) that Apple should correct in its future releases. The "Relaunch The Finder" push button allows you to relaunch the Finder at any time without restarting your Mac nor opening a new session.

Remember that when you register for a particular Application, your registration code remains valid for all the following minor releases.
Remember to read the Conditions of Use, Publication and Distribution before installing and using our Applications.

3. How to install it?
No particular installation is required. Once you've downloaded the ".dmg" package from our website, it should uncompress automatically (in your "Downloads" folder or on your Desktop). If it does not, then you can double-click on it to uncompress it.
Then you just have to move the created folder into your "Applications" folder (or any other location) and double-click on the Application to launch it.

Particular case of MacOS 11 Big Sur:

Under MacOS 11 Big Sur, if you're launching the Application for the first time, MacOS' GateKeeper (which you can configure in the "System Preferences") will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the "Open" menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developper).

NB: We're not distributing our Applications through the Mac App Store, because Apple's fees policy on the Mac App Store is not financially respectful of developers and small and medium companies, and consequently, at the end, of customers.

4. How to uninstall it?
There should be no reason to do this. ;-)
However, if you really want, then you just have to throw the Application into the trash, and that's all.

5. How to use it?
Drag and drop a file or a folder in the list box at the top of the window, or on the application's icon, or select it with the "File/Open..." menu.
The list of files and folders located in the same folder as the dropped file or in the dropped folder appears.
You can click on a file or a folder to select it in the list in order to display and modify its properties.
You can double-click on a folder to open it in the list. Or you can click on the triangle to open the parent folder.
When a file or a folder is selected, you can modify its name, its type, its creator, its creation date, its creation time, its modification date, its modification time, its lock, its visibility and its extension visibility.
Its type and creator can be modified manually, by selecting another file or by dropping another file on the bevel button.
Its creation date and modification date can be reset to today.
Once you have made all your modifications, click on the "Apply modifications" push button to apply them.
If you don't click on the "Apply modifications" push button no modification is applied.
